GAME SHOOTING AND DEER STALKING
Arrangements can be made for driven Pheasant shoots, Duck flighting, rough shooting and Snipe and Woodcock shooting near to Bovey Castle. This is good local shooting with local people. Our driven Pheasant is typically a 30 to 40 bird day on small local shoots.
Deer stalking for fallow and roebuck is also available in the countryside surrounding Bovey Castle.
Guests who wish to arrange shooting parties are asked to contact the activities department in advance to discuss your requirements in detail.
We have an excellent gunroom for the storage of rifles and shotguns.
Deer stalking may also be arranged at short notice.
Prices:
Varies according to requirements.
Typically £250.00 per gun for Snipe and Woodcock day.
Stalking: £175.00 Deposits may be required.
(A cancellation fee for the full charge of the activity will apply if canceled after the time of booking)
