HORSE RIDING

For guests interested in riding we recommend Babeny Stables (about 35 minutes drive from Bovey Castle). They may be contacted through their website www.babenystables.co.uk or on 01364 631 296.

Guests may make their own arrangements and pay the stables directly.

Should guests wish Bovey Castle to make arrangements on their behalf the following charges will apply. Guests should state at the time of booking if transfers are required.

Cost of transfer to and from the stables, if required, for 1 hour rides (max 6 guests per vehicle) £100

For bookings the following information will be required:
Age, height, weight and riding experience (walk, trot or canter. Novice or experienced).
This information is required for each rider before the booking can be confirmed.
